Write Something Interesting About an Art Fair, Win an iPad Mini:
Published: May 6, 2013Art fair coverage. We know it can be a drag — we know because we have to write a lot of it. This week ARTINFO’s team will be in the field, covering all the fairs of Frieze Week in New York, for the web and for our art fair dailies. But here’s your chance, dear reader, to show us how it should really be done.
We are looking for people to contribute their craziest, most experimental ideas for covering an art fair. Narrative-style descent into despair? A sales report in comic book form? A fair diary in Dada-esque verse? Philosophical musings on the existential, aesthetic, sociological, or eschatological meaning of it all?
Submit essays of no more than 500 words to editors[at]artinfo.com by the end of the last day of Frieze New York (May 13) with ‘FRIEZE WEEK ESSAY CONTEST‘ in the subject line. We’ll publish the best the next week on ARTINFO. The VERY best gets a prize: a shiny new iPad Mini (see the contest terms, below). We want to see what you come up with!
