Museum Boca Museum Creates Field Trip Grants for 2013-2014:
“BOCA RATON, FL—The Boca Raton Museum, Florida, has granted $10.000 to Field Trip Grants for the year 2013-2014, reports Art Media Agency.
The move is intended to celebrate arts during an educational week, and to emphasize the important role they play in education. The Boca Raton has granted $10, 000 to educational institutions in the provinces of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach, specifying that the money be used to fund school trips to the institution between August 2013 and May 2014.
Museum directors hope that the move will encourage schools to incorporate the visual arts into their existing curriculums. The Boca Raton is one of the most important museums in Florida, known for its dynamic exhibitions, for the artists it presents and for its prestigious permanent collection. The museum’s programs features art exhibitions, family activities and courses in the workshops of its Art School.”
