I walked into a hotel lobby of the St. Regis today and saw this sculpture, Cloud Prototype #4. It was a nice surprise and one of the doormen was excited to tell me the title and the artist’s name. Iñigo Manglano-Ovalle I recall had an exhibition at Fredric Snitzer Gallery when he was located in that strange area between Coconut Grove and Coral Gables near US1. There were a few galleries over there until Wynwood called everyone to its welcoming warehouses. Time has quickly gone by since then.
