Hillman Curtis, a Pioneer in Web Design, Dies at 51

A number of years ago when I was teaching a Broward College web design course, I had searched out examples of what I thought was a great sense of design and navigation. Hillman Curtis was more than memorable and went so far as to show off his client work. He had inspired my short foray into Adobe Flash. Actually, earlier this year I had gone searching out his web presence. Inspiring man.

Hillman Curtis, a Pioneer in Web Design, Dies at 51:

“Mr. Curtis, who called himself a serial self-reinventor, played in a rock band in the 1980s and early ’90s before teaching himself Web design and then moved on to film, his third career.”
