*SPLASH!* - 3 Dec., 2009 to 9 Jan., 2010
Paul Aho (Florida), Mark Dixon (Canada), TJ Norris (Oregon), and Sara Stites (Florida) are all exploring various abstract forms, from the man-made to those produced in nature. In each instance the artist has created a unique vision through personal creativity. Dixon and Norris have created richly patterned works-on-paper, while Aho and Stites have worked along similar paths on paintings. In all, they provide a highly unique selection from which to view.
Till Könneker (Switzerland) has a well-known practice of creating silhouette drawings, here done on hand-made Japanese paper. These delicate works are powerful in both imagery and presentation. He develops his work in an explorative and playful manner, always ready to trust chance.
Bill Puzstai’s (Canada) poetic photographs reveal his interpretation of the four muses. “Embodying the allusive muses, this quartet of classically composed nudes is a statement about statements, art about sex, soft-core porn about literature, and homage to one of the unsung heroes of culture and gender theory."
Sara Stites' work is a playful exploration of the relation between opposites: organic and non-organic, bizarre and beautiful, innocence and sexuality. She often uses hair to soften the edges of forms and eyes to allow the viewer a way of identifying with the work.
We also have in out print portfolios the beautiful drawings by Gary Moore done for his public art project at the Adrienne Arscht Center in downtown Miami. These are MUST SEE!

Miami Art Exchange in 2010
We are planning for a great New Year! We have some awesome work on hand by artists we've shown that will be available from now until the end of February, 2010. Don't let something special and affordable slip away!
We also want to thank our sponsors over the past two years, OPEN American Express and Meetup.com. Their support has allowed us to provide services to many artists in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. We will continue our services. If you'd like to sponsor an event (training, workshop, or art party) please, contact us.
