The 2013 South Florida Cultural Consortium Fellowship Program for Visual and Media Artists has been made public. Over 350 South Florida artists from five counties submitted their online applications, digital images and videos.
The Cultural Consortium Fellowship Program was able to bring the art works to the collective attention of an impressive panel of national and regional arts experts. The regional panel reviewed all the submissions and forwarded recommendations to the national panel. Selection by the regional panel was totally anonymous, based solely on artists’ work as evidenced by digital images or video/films submitted.
After deliberations, the national panel recommended the following artists for the awards:

noneThese recommendations were approved by the Board Members of the South Florida Cultural Consortium at its meeting on May 22, 2013. As always, they were gratified by the response to this annual regional fellowship program and appreciate each artist’s participation. Next year’s program will be held in the fall of 2013. If you applied, your name will be kept on file so that you may be encouraged to apply again. Please note in your calendar that the new application forms will become available in Monday, September 2, 2013.
