 Grolsch and NADA present: SwingArt Contest 2011 |
| The Swing Art Award 2011 is a unique partnership between Grolsch and the New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA). Grolsch – the official beer of contemporary art – continues now in its 6th year of supporting the most important contemporary art fair week in Miami Beach, December 1-4, 2011. Grolsch – famous for its iconic Swingtop bottle – introduced the SwingArt Program in 2007 to commission an artist and produce a limited number of bottles featuring the artist’s work.
The judges this season are a group of different curators: Andrew Berardini, LA based curator and writer The SwingArtist ’11 will be announced after June 15th. The winner will be flown to Miami to celebrate their original work featured on a limited and numbered edition of SwingTop bottles, and will receive a $2000.00 cash prize. The limited edition SwingArt bottle will be handed out to guests and exhibitors at NADA Miami Beach 2011, along with an array of parties/events at Grolsch accounts in Wynwood, Design District and South Beach. The SwingArtist 2011 will be present at the openings event of the NADA art fair to sign bottles (approx 2hours) and at the NADA/SwingArt party during Art Week.
