I’ve been to a number to tech meetings during the past year or so, and one of m major complaints is a lack of a good digital book reader. If we’re going to cease making paper books then we better have something that isn’t an eye strain and something to I can use like a book. I make my own references front to back, and don’t always rely on linked footnotes (which are not in paper books anyway). I want to flip around and read non-fiction in any order I prefer.
I was left unsatisfied with the Adobe people saying the newest version of Flash would solve my readability problem. changing font sizes isn’t the only thing to make reading e-books a pain. When are we going to get personal notes added in so that we can flip back and forth to our own personal references?
