The Village of Pinecrest invites you to participate in the 14th Annual Pinecrest Gardens Fine Arts Festival on Saturday, January 21st and Sunday, January 22nd, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Historical Pinecrest Gardens. Submit your application early via e-mail, fax or regular mail before the deadlines and be sure to include all required information.

Application Deadline for WaveMaker Grants

The application deadline for Cannonball’s WaveMaker Grants program is Monday, January 9 at 11:59 p.m. E.S.T. This is an absolute, drop-dead deadline. No exceptions will be made. Potential applicants, please plan for worst-case scenarios–alien invasion, microwave uprising, Internet implosion–and submit your applications prior to this deadline. Thank you and good luck!

Call For Florida Sculpture Artists

DELRAY BEACH, FL (January 2, 2017) —The Morton Group, Inc. is pleased to announce the commissioning of two iconic sculptures to be featured in the Sculpture Garden of their new construction condominium, Metropolitan, in Downtown Delray Beach. January 16, 2017 – NATIONAL ART ENCOUNTER COMPETITION 2017
Open to all media, subject matter and genres of artwork created after Jan. 1, 2013 by artists residing in the USA. Max of 2 entries. 9 awards totaling $3,500. 3 art professionals will serve as jurors. Bricks and mortar exhibition on view in Naples, Florida Mar. 17 – Apr. 15, 2017. January 18, 2017 – 36TH BRADLEY INTERNATIONAL PRINT AND DRAWING EXHIBITION
The Bradley International is the second-longest running juried print and drawing competition in the country. Every two years it features the best contemporary graphic artwork from around the globe. This year’s exhibition will be held at four prominent Peoria Illinois Galleries. The 36th BI will be juried by Kathryn Polk. 1st Place – $3,000 2nd Place – $1,750 3rd Place- $750 Entry Fee. January 20, 2017 – LEAD ARTIST COMMUNITY ARTS INITIATIVE ARTIST PROJECT
The Artist Project is a collaboration between the MFA and 10 after school community organizations in Boston. Each year a new experienced artist with a passion for community arts is selected to plan and lead a project with children between the ages of six and twelve. The artist guides children and helps them create a collaborative work. A stipend of $22,000 and a materials budget is provided. No Entry Fee.
